- What is the relationship between DevGroup and EDGE Affiliates?
- DevGroup is the product and engineering studio of EDGE Affiliates. EDGE Affiliates is the parent growth, partnerships, and advisory practice; DevGroup is where the software gets built. Same company, two clear front doors.
- Do you only work with EDGE Affiliates clients?
- No. Many DevGroup engagements start with a direct engineering need—an access control system, an internal platform, an integration layer. If growth or partner strategy turns out to be the real problem, we will introduce you to EDGE Affiliates.
- Will you take on an existing codebase?
- Yes. A good share of our work is stabilizing and modernizing systems that already matter to the business. We start by making it observable and deployable, then improve it incrementally.
- What stack do you use?
- Mostly TypeScript across the stack—React and Next.js on the front end, Node services and managed Postgres behind them, deployed on Vercel, AWS, or Cloudflare depending on the workload. We choose conventional tools your team can hire for.
- How do engagements usually start?
- With a conversation about the system you have and what you need it to do. From there we agree on a scoped first release and get to work. Email or phone is the fastest way to begin.
